Agree the handoff before the fixtures are packed.
A factory supply scope and a store-opening scope are different things. Delivery planning should identify the receiving address, unloading conditions, assembly tasks and responsible parties. Commercial terms, charges and timings must be confirmed for the actual order and destination.

Use this review sequence.
- Review the route from vehicle to final fixture position, including door openings and changes of level.
- Ask for a packing list that identifies parts belonging to the same fixture.
- At receipt, record visible carton condition and any discrepancy before discarding packaging.
- Keep photos, packing references and the order record together; follow the agreed reporting process rather than assuming a standard claim deadline.
Record the fixture or bay reference, sample merchandise, drawing revision, checks performed, unresolved items and the person confirming the next step. Keep assumptions visible; an illustrative layout is not a tested product specification.
