FOCUS — Agree the handoff before the fixtures are packed. Updated 22 October 2026 A factory supply scope and a store-opening scope are different things. Delivery planning should identify the receiving address, unloading conditions, assembly tasks and responsible parties. Commercial terms, charges and timings must be confirmed for the actual order and destination. DECISIONS Packing identification Fixture number, carton number, handling orientation and loose-parts reference. Connect packing labels to the approved fixture schedule. Receiving conditions Address, access restrictions, unloading equipment and a dry holding area. Identify any receiving appointment or restricted vehicle route. Assembly and installation Sequence, fittings, power interfaces and local work by other parties. Confirm the responsible party and required instructions before shipment. REVIEW SEQUENCE 1. Review the route from vehicle to final fixture position, including door openings and changes of level. 2. Ask for a packing list that identifies parts belonging to the same fixture. 3. At receipt, record visible carton condition and any discrepancy before discarding packaging. 4. Keep photos, packing references and the order record together; follow the agreed reporting process rather than assuming a standard claim deadline.
