FOCUS — Review the design package at three decision gates. Updated 22 October 2026 A store-design service should make the next approval clear. Separate an early concept from a coordinated fixture plan and from production drawings. This helps the buyer compare quotations and prevents an attractive image being mistaken for a complete installation package. DECISIONS Layout direction Merchandise zones, service positions, play-space assumptions and initial fixture locations. Agree the operating brief and identify unverified site dimensions. Coordinated fixture plan Numbered fixtures, selected options, key dimensions and interfaces. Check doors, queues, replenishment and occupied chairs. Production handoff Approved drawing revisions, materials, sample decisions and packing scope. Confirm which local trades and site approvals are outside supply. REVIEW SEQUENCE 1. Give the team one measured plan with a revision name and photographs that match it. 2. Review a busy-store scenario with customers browsing, trades arriving and play tables occupied. 3. Record open decisions and the person responsible for each one. Do not use a rendering as evidence that local requirements are satisfied. 4. Ask the quotation to identify design deliverables, revisions, samples and excluded work before accepting a scope.
