FOCUS — Card Shop Counters & Trade-In Desks Request checklist · updated 2026-10-16 Plan the counter around the real tray, holder and POS equipment. Overall height and finish alone do not show whether staff can unlock a cabinet, retrieve one item, inspect a trade and serve the next customer without mixing stock or obstructing another position. INFORMATION TO SEND Counter footprint: Straight runs, corners, staff entry, adjacent walls and customer standing positions. Tray and holder sizes: Actual trays, slabs, top loaders, inspection mats and the intended retrieval method. Door and drawer travel: Available rear aisle, sliding or hinged access and any nearby equipment. POS and services: Equipment footprints, cable entry, power needs and driver-access expectations. Transaction and access needs: Inspection, payment, reserved stock and any required accessible service position. REVIEW BEFORE APPROVAL - Present a tray to a customer while another position remains usable. - Inspect incoming cards without placing them inside a sale-inventory tray. - Open the specified doors and drawers with the staff aisle occupied. - Review the POS position, light reflection, cable route and the return of a card to its assigned place. REFERENCE STATUS Development proposals require project drawings and sample approval. Confirm quantities, sample costs, production timing, freight and installation scope in the quotation.
